Hibe Home legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Hibe uses to manage your account, map your property, schedule providers, process payment, support you, and improve Hibe Home.Effective August 25, 20261. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Hibe AI Inc.(“Hibe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with Hibe Home, our customer website and account, support, property mapping, scheduling, payments, ratings, and the provider tools used to deliver Hibe Home services.
It does not replace a separate notice that may apply to Hibe employees, applicants, or an unrelated Hibe product. By using Hibe Home, you acknowledge the practices described here and agree to our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information
Name, email, phone number, password credentials in protected form, account ID, invitation information, and communication preferences.
Property and service information
Service address, Google place identifier, coordinates, unit or gate details, access instructions, property eligibility, service selections, schedule, arrival windows, assigned provider, visit status, completion evidence, reschedule reason, issues, refunds, and service history.
Payment and transaction information
Plan, prices, charges, payment status, Stripe customer and payment-method references, receipts, credits, disputes, and related records. Stripe processes card details; Hibe does not receive or store your full card number or security code.
Communications and feedback
Support messages, call or message details, access questions, photos or files you send, provider ratings, review text, complaint history, and survey responses.
Device and usage information
IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages and features used, dates and times, session and security events, cookie or local-storage identifiers, crash details, and approximate location inferred from IP. If you grant device location permission, we may also receive more precise location while a location-dependent feature is in use.
3. Property scans, images, and derived maps
Hibe or an assigned Service Provider may use an iPhone or another supported device’s camera, LiDAR or depth sensor, positioning, and augmented-reality tools to scan the service area. A scan may include images or video frames, depth data, device position and orientation, approximate dimensions, surface and object classifications, access points, lawn boundaries, fences, slopes, irrigation features, obstacles, walls, windows, and nearby areas visible during capture.
Hibe combines this information into a derived property map or “property twin” used to assess eligibility, plan safe robot operation, document the service, and evaluate other property services you may later request. Hibe owns the derived mapping outputs as described in the Terms, but we continue to treat personal information associated with those outputs under this Policy.
Scans are intended to document property features, not identify people. Please keep people out of the scan area when possible. If a person is incidentally captured, Hibe handles that image as service content and does not use facial recognition or create a biometric identity from it.
4. Sources of information
We collect information:
- directly from you when you create an account, choose an address or plan, message Hibe, or submit a rating;
- from the assigned Service Provider and its crew during mapping, arrival, service, rescheduling, and completion;
- automatically from your browser, device, cookies, local storage, logs, and security systems;
- from service partners such as Stripe, Google Maps Platform, hosting, email, and communications providers; and
- from Hibe’s CRM, calendar, support records, and lawful public or property information used to verify an address.
5. How we use information
We use information to:

7. Selling, sharing, and targeted advertising
Hibe does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Hibe Home does not currently use personal information to serve targeted advertising. If those practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice and opt-out rights required by law.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including while your account or property service is active, and afterward as needed for warranties, customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, legal compliance, and enforcing agreements. Retention depends on the type and sensitivity of the information, the service relationship, and legal requirements.
Property scans and derived maps may be retained while they remain useful for an active or reasonably anticipated property service, to document work and safety, or to resolve a dispute. Hibe may keep deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you or your household. Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
9. Security
Hibe uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, device, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your password, use a unique password, and contact us promptly if you believe your account or property information has been accessed without permission.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You can update certain account details, cancel a subscription, manage optional marketing, and contact support inside Hibe Home. You may also disable browser cookies or device location through your browser or device settings, although some features may then work differently.
