Hibe Home legal
Terms of Service
These terms explain how Hibe Home accounts, robotic lawn visits, subscriptions, providers, payments, property mapping, and ratings work.Effective August 25, 20261. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Hibe AI Inc. (“Hibe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of Hibe Home, including our website, customer account, support, scheduling, payments, and property services.
By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or ordering a service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement, and authorized to request work at the service address. The initial pilot is invitation-only and limited to addresses Hibe approves in Broward County, Florida.
2. Hibe and service providers
Hibe operates the platform, owns and manages the customer relationship, confirms eligibility, coordinates scheduling, collects payment, provides support, and maintains Hibe property maps. The physical visit is performed by an independent company approved by Hibe (a “Service Provider”).
Service Providers are independent businesses, not Hibe employees, agents, partners, or franchisees. Hibe may assign, replace, or remove a Service Provider. You will be able to see the assigned company’s profile and, when available, verified Hibe ratings before the visit.
3. The lawn service
The pilot service is robot-powered cutting of an eligible backyard lawn. It includes a property-mapping visit, an approved local provider, robot setup and monitoring, scheduling, status updates, and Hibe support.
Unless an order clearly says otherwise, the service does not include front-yard mowing, edging, string trimming, blowing, bagging clippings, landscaping, debris removal, treatment, irrigation work, or manual finishing. Results vary with grass condition, weather, obstacles, access, terrain, and robot capability. Future services, such as pressure washing, apply only if Hibe separately offers them and you expressly order them.
4. Property mapping and scanning
Before autonomous work can begin, Hibe or a Service Provider may scan the property using device cameras, LiDAR or other depth sensors, positioning data, and augmented-reality tools. A scan may capture the lawn boundary, access points, fences, obstacles, slopes, irrigation features, walls, windows, and other nearby surfaces needed to assess or provide present or future services.
Hibe uses the scan to create and maintain a digital property map or “property twin.” Measurements and classifications are automated estimates. They are not a land survey, appraisal, engineering plan, construction measurement, code determination, or guarantee that a surface is suitable for any future service. Hibe may require a new scan when the property changes or the prior map is not reliable.
5. Scheduling, access, and rescheduling
Visit dates and arrival windows are estimates, not guaranteed appointments. Hibe or the Service Provider may reschedule because of weather, unsafe conditions, property access, equipment or robot failure, staffing, traffic, emergencies, or another operational problem. Hibe will update the visit status and send a new date or window through Hibe Home as soon as reasonably possible.
A rescheduled visit remains part of the same order or subscription cycle and is not charged twice. If Hibe cannot complete a paid visit, Hibe may provide a replacement visit, account credit, or refund for that visit. You may request changes through Hibe support, but changes are subject to provider availability and may not be possible after dispatch.
6. Pricing, authorization, and payment
Current pilot pricing is $29.99 for one completed one-time visit. Hibe charges the payment method saved through Stripe after completion. Applicable taxes or clearly disclosed additional charges may be added before you confirm an order. You authorize Hibe and its payment processor to store your payment method and charge it according to the plan disclosures shown before purchase.
If a payment fails, Hibe may retry the charge, request an updated payment method, pause future visits, or cancel the order or subscription. Except where required by law or stated in these Terms, payments for completed services and started subscription cycles are nonrefundable.
7. Subscription, renewal, and cancellation
By choosing the subscription, you give express permission for these automatic recurring charges. You can cancel at any time in Hibe Home → Accountusing the same online account used to subscribe, or by contacting Hibe support. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle; visits already included in that cycle remain available. If you cancel before the free first visit is completed, no subscription charge is due.
We will clearly disclose material price or plan changes before they apply and provide any notice required by law. If Hibe ends a subscription, we will not charge a new cycle and will address any paid, unprovided visits with a replacement, credit, or prorated refund as appropriate.
8. Your property and safety responsibilities
Before each visit, you agree to:
- provide accurate address, gate, access, contact, and property information;
- have authority to permit scanning and service at the property;
- disclose known hazards, fragile items, irrigation heads, wires, holes, steep areas, and restricted areas;
- remove toys, hoses, branches, furniture, pet waste, and other movable obstacles;
- keep children, pets, and other people away from the work area and equipment; and
- not touch, ride, move, block, disable, or interfere with the robot or the provider’s equipment.
Hibe or the Service Provider may stop or decline work when the property is inaccessible, materially different from the information provided, or unsafe.
9. Ratings, reviews, and communications
After a completed visit, you may rate the Service Provider and submit feedback. Ratings must reflect your genuine experience and must not be unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, defamatory, or contain another person’s private information. Hibe may moderate, remove, investigate, or decline to publish feedback that violates these Terms or appears manipulated.
You agree that Hibe may send service communications by email, text, phone, or in-app message, including access questions, schedule changes, payment notices, safety alerts, and support replies. Transactional messages are part of the service and are separate from optional marketing messages.
10. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Hibe Home, impersonate another person, submit a property you are not authorized to manage, interfere with security, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, introduce malicious code, evade payment, abuse a Service Provider, or use Hibe Home for an unlawful purpose. Automated access is not permitted unless Hibe approves it in writing.
11. Ownership and licenses
Hibe and its licensors own Hibe Home, its software, branding, workflows, algorithms, and the property twins, measurements, surface classifications, route data, and other derived mapping outputs created through the platform. You retain any ownership you have in photos, messages, instructions, and other original content you provide.
You grant Hibe a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, analyze, and share that content as reasonably necessary to evaluate the property, provide and improve services, maintain the property twin, support you, prevent fraud, and comply with law. You also grant Hibe permission to display your submitted rating with your first name and general service area, or in aggregated form, unless Hibe offers a different choice.
Address suggestions and maps may use Google Maps Platform and are also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hibe Home and the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Hibe does not promise uninterrupted availability, a specific provider, an exact arrival time, weed-free or uniform grass, or that automated maps and measurements are error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hibe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or use. Hibe’s aggregate liability arising from Hibe Home or the services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Hibe for Hibe Home services during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for Hibe’s fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence where the law prohibits limitation. Your rights against an independent Service Provider may be governed by applicable law and are not expanded by these Terms.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Hibe Home at any time, subject to amounts already due and the subscription cancellation rules above. Hibe may restrict or close an account, decline a property, or cancel future service for safety, fraud, nonpayment, abusive conduct, legal requirements, loss of coverage, operational necessity, or a material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including payment, ownership, disclaimers, and liability provisions.
15. Governing law and disputes
Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact Hibe so we can try to resolve it. Any court proceeding relating to these Terms or Hibe Home must be brought in a state court in Broward County, Florida, or the federal court with jurisdiction there, unless applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring it elsewhere.
16. Changes, general terms, and contact
We may update these Terms as Hibe Home changes. We will post the effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should cancel before the change applies.
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our permission; Hibe may transfer them as part of a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
